THE MONIQUE LEGARÉ INTERNATIONAL
DANCE COMPANY

Since 1985, our 20-member folk dance company has entertained audiences large and small with costumed performances of the dances of Armenia, Bulgaria, England, France, French-Canada, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Based at the Professional Dance Academy in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, on the outskirts of Philadelphia, the Company is led and directed by Monique Legaré.

In 1995, at the invitation of the University of Lviv, the Company highlighted an already good year with a sixteen-day performance tour of Ukraine. From September 30 through October 16, 1997, the troupe hosted a tour by 22 members of the University of Lviv Chamber Orchestra.

As well as many other appearances in the Philadelphia area, the Company annually performs at the Heritage Dance Festival in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania and at the New England Folk Festival in Natick, Massachusettes.
